The Shield of Dalera consisted of numerous devices created by the Lantean known as Dalera.

Similar in appearance to Ancient personal shields, each component of the system generated an intense electromagnetic field that would shut down any advanced piece of technology caught within it (be it Wraith, Ancient, or human). They were part of an elaborate defense system created by Dalera to protect the Dalerans, and would glow when detecting pieces of technology (signifying both their use and the possibility of enemies approaching). The Shield of Dalera could only be activated by someone with the ATA gene, who were known as the Chosen. (SGA: "The Chosen")
