Selmak's Tel'tak is a series of Tel'taks that belonged to the Tok'ra Selmak/Jacob Carter.
History[]
This Tel'tak was first used by Selmak/Jacob Carter to infiltrate the Goa'uld occupied world P2C-257 and detonate a weapon's grade shipment of Naquadah that would have vaporized a sizable chunk of the planet. Just before detonation, he spotted Major Samantha Carter and Dr. Daniel Jackson come through the Stargate and ringed them aboard. They requested his help in rescuing Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c from the X-301 Interceptor. On the way to Earth, the hyperdrive broke down due to it being overtaxed. After repairs and avoiding Goa'uld forces, they make it to the Solar system and wake up Jack and Teal'c. After they eject from the X-301, Jacob rings them aboard and they return to Earth. (SG1: "Tangent")
After a short vacation on Earth, Jacob Carter/Selmak were contacted by the Tok'ra who intercepted a communication between Apophis and Heru'ur about a proposed alliance. They plan to meet in the Tobin system because of the presence of mines that prevent either side from firing on each other. The Tok'ra wish for Jacob and SG-1 to reprogram one of the mines to attack Apophis' mothership and cause Apophis and Heru'ur to war with each other. Before leaving Earth, Jacob had the bulkhead and escape pods removed to provide more room for the mine. After arriving in the Tobin system, they ringed a mine aboard and Dr. Daniel Jackson and Major Samantha Carter reprogram the mine and release it. After the mine hit Apophis' mothership, Jacob attempted to intercept the rings sending Teal'c to Apophis' mothership but fails. Fortunately, Teal'c was not ringed aboard and escaped with the help of Rak'nor. After Apophis discovers the person ringed was not Teal'c he decloaks a fleet of motherships and destroyed Heru'ur's Ha'tak. Just before the destruction of the Ha'tak a Death Glider exited the ship. Jacob hailed the ship and Rak'nor answered with a Tok'ra pass code and they met on the third moon of the Tichenor system. (SG1: "The Serpent's Venom")
When Dr. Daniel Jackson went undercover as Lord Yu's Lo'taur at the System Lord Summit, Jacob Carter/Selmak followed in his Tel'tak and stayed in contact with Daniel via a Tok'ra Short range communicator. After Daniel fled in an Escape pod, he brought him on board and they returned to Revanna. When they arrived in the system, they picked up a distress call from the rest of SG-1 and Lt. Kevin Elliot/Lantash. When they attempted to enter the atmosphere, they were detected by Zipacna's Ha'tak and shot down by Death Gliders and crashed on the planet. They abandoned the ship and were later able to escape through the Stargate. (SG1: "Summit", "Last Stand")
A short time later, Anubis sent a Naquadah asteroid towards Earth. SG-1 and a team of engineers traveled to Revanna and repaired the Tel'tak's hyperdrive and traveled back to Earth. When they arrived, the sublight engines overloaded and SG-1 was forced to decelerate with thrusters. After the ship came to a stop, Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c placed a Nuclear warhead in a cave and returned to the ship. When they arrived back at the ship, a meteor shower had caused several hull breaches and Dr. Daniel Jackson and Major Samantha Carter survived in Escape pods until O'Neill and Teal'c repaired the ship. Once released from the pod Carter discovered that the asteroid was made up of Naquadah and the resulting explosion would destroy Earth. Carter devised a plan to use the ship to enter hyperspace and travel through the Earth. Once on the other side, SG-1 was rescued by the Tok'ra. (SG1: "Fail Safe")
After the ship was repaired with the help of the Tok'ra, the Asgard Freyr requested SG-1 use the ship to rescue Heimdall from Adara II after the Goa'uld Osiris destroyed Thor's ship. After traveling to the planet, SG-1 landed on the surface of the toxic planet and Heimdall beamed them into the base. When they learned that Thor was alive on board the ship, Colonel Jack O'Neill and Teal'c used the Transportation rings to gain access to Anubis' Ha'tak. Meanwhile, Major Samantha Carter and Heimdall transferred the research data and the stasis pod containing an Asgard ancestor to the ship. Eventually O'Neill and Teal'c are able to get the Shields lowered and Heimdall beamed SG-1 and Thor to the ship. Unfortunately, Anubis used a mind probe on Thor and was able to locate the cloaked ship. After taken several hits, the ship was disabled and Anubis demanded their surrender. Luckily, Freyr arrived with three O'Neill-class ships and Anubis retreated. Unfortunately, the ship was damaged beyond repair. (SG1: "Revelations", "Redemption, Part 1")
When Thor's mind took over Anubis' Ha'tak and flew it to Earth, Jacob Carter/Selmak traveled to Earth in a new Tel'tak and picked up SG-1 to investigate. They reached the vessel and scanned it but found no life signs on board. Colonel Jack O'Neill, Major Samantha Carter, Major Paul Davis, Dr. Friesen, and Jacob boarded the Ha'tak using the Transportation rings while Jonas Quinn and Teal'c stayed aboard the Tel'tak. After three Jaffa attacked Jacob and set the disabled Ha'tak on a collision course with Earth, the Jaffa ringed to the Tel'tak but were shot with a Zat'nik'tel by Teal'c. Unfortunately, the rings were damaged and the crew on the Ha'tak were forced to stay aboard as the ship crashed into the Pacific Ocean. Jonas and Teal'c then returned to Stargate Command to help in the rescue operation. (SG1: "Descent")

Notes[]
- The exact number of Tel'tak's used by Selmak is unclear. The same Tel'tak is clearly used in "Tangent" and "The Serpent's Venom". It is not clear if the Tel'tak seen from "Summit" to "Revelations" is the same ship or a replacement. The Tel'tak used in "Descent" is a new ship as the previous ship is said to have been wrecked during the Battle of Adara II.
