Captain Selena Rodriguez is a female Tau'ri, who is a member of Stargate Command and Phoenix Site. She's a pilot in the United States Air Force and the leader of Phoenix-1.

Background information[]
Originally from Puerto Rico, Selena Rodriguez was the youngest United States Air Force pilot to reach the rank of Captain after she was thrust into the lead of a squad when her commander was shot down over Bosnia. [1]
2000[]
In March 2000, Captain Rodriguez, was diverted from her patrols of the Pacific Ocean when Thor's ship, the Biliskner, crashed. She was instrumental in keeping other Earth forces away from the crash site while it was covered up. She also proved she was able to coordinate well with those under her command, as she worked with the Navy, NID, and CIA. Following these events, General George S. Hammond reached out her and recruited her into the Stargate Program. (RPG: "Core Rulebook")
2002[]
When an opportunity for her to lead a brand new team arose at Phoenix Site, she jumped at the opportunity,[1] and in August 2002[2], Selena was made the leader of Phoenix-1.[3]
When Rodriguez witnessed a loud crowd in the town of Haven, she had her team intervened before a riot could break out. When informed of the rivers greatly diminished water levels, she promised to investigate it. Shortly after, Phoenix-1 found a facility under the river and checked it out. After reporting their findings, the team was tasked with convincing the Council of Haven to keep the Goa'uld facility in tact. Rodriguez and A'tir managed to get Lotoda to side with their point of view.[4]
