When Vala Mal Doran lost her memory, she wandered into his diner and tried to leave without paying for her meal. When he confronted her, she explained that she had no memory of her life before she entered the diner. He insisted she go to the hospital, but when she refused he offered her a job as a waitress in the diner. (SG1: "Memento Mori")
