Bots

Bots, given the "Replicator" role, are automated or semi-automated processes managed by administrators or moderators, denoted by their "Ancient" or "Evolved Human" roles, for various purposes. Please do not bring additional bots into the server without permission from the administration.

Rules

General Rules

  • 1. No swearing.
  • 2. No being uncivilised to each other.
  • 3. Don't abuse any channel or it will be taken away.

Disagreements

We all have disagreements. Some people like SGU, some people don't. Others like Cam Mitchell's addition, or Jonas (Season 6)... others don't. Some people prefer only SG1 and don't count Atlantis or Stargate Universe.

Having a disagreement is fine. The world would be boring if everyone agreed on everything. But please remember to keep your discussions civil. Remember that everyone has a right to their opinion, respect that right, and we'll all get along just fine.

Spoilers

A spoiler is considered a piece of information regarding the story of a product immediately after its release. Quite a lot of people prefer not to know anything about the story before they see/read/play through it themselves.

It is for this reason that we have the #general-spoilers channel. Anything less than a month old belongs in that channels, and can not be discussed in non-spoiler channels.

First offence to this will simply result in us removing the comment and any related discussion, but any further offences will be judged on a case by case basis. Please respect your fellow fans and keep the discussions to the appropriate areas.

Advertising

Please check with an admin, denoted by their Ancient role, before advertising anything, and get their permission. Thank you. (Discussion of public services doesn't count for this, but may still fall under other server rules)

Appropriate Content

Some subjects are considered sensitive and may be inappropriate to discuss here. This may includes certain WW2 political figures, and politics as a whole. If you are unsure, please check with an admin before posting it.

Memes channel

Memes posted to the #memes must be relevant to geek culture. This could mean sci-fi, fantasy, board games, video games, books, TV, movies, etc. But it must be relevant to geek culture.

They must also be memes. While we appreciate that some of you have photos and other images to share, they are more appropriate for the #images-arts-and-crafts channel. Please keep everything posted to memes a meme. This could be a quote, joke, parody, etc but must be a meme. A meme is defined as an image or video with humorous intent.

Additionally, Discord's Terms of Service must be followed at all times.
