Dr. Roberta Emmen was a female Tau'ri geologist, who was a part of Phoenix Site. She was the twin of Dr. Michael Emmen.

Roberta was the leader of the team Phoenix-11. She was in charge of clearing tunnels as needed. She was very excited about all the new mineral deposits the team would find. (RPG: "Prey")
During the Sector E's tunnel excavation of Phoenix Site, one of her crew members heard purring sounds in a side tunnel. Roberta guessed it was another Pa'tash nest and set a night shift text report to her brother, asking if his team could check it out. He didn't find any pa'tash but Hadra confirmed the sound. He himself heard it later on but found no trace of it. When Roberta heard the purr again, she no longer thought it was a pa'tash as it was too even and requested a Marine escort until first contact. Michael asked about sealing the tunnel incase it was a machine but Roberta declined as they were more than halfway done with clearing Sector E. She suggested using Tok'ra tunnel crystals but he didn't want to risk a reaction with the possible machine.[3] (RPG: "Core Rulebook")
