Reynolds was a rogue NID agent. He was one of several agents posing as a camera crew for Julia Donovan who hijacked the Prometheus. After their initial demands were met, the release of Colonel Frank Simmons and the Goa'uld in Adrian Conrad, they took the ship into hyperspace. He was captured when Colonel Jack O'Neill, Major Samantha Carter and Teal'c were able to take back the ship. He was later beamed to the Stargate Command brig by Thor.
