Red Team was a medical unit in Stargate Command. They were pulled from inoculation duty on 865 to assist SG-1 on Vagonbrei. All three members were infected with a Sleep parasite. Lt. Bernie Ackerman was killed by the creature and Dr. Reimer suffered a fatal heart attack from stimulants he took to stay awake. Grimsby fell asleep because of the parasite and his fate is unknown.
