On a rescue mission to Eskal to save SG-1, he and the rest of the team were captured by the Jaffa and taken to the Stargate. They were freed when Major General George S. Hammond and Teal'c came through the Gate in the Needle Threader followed by Bra'tac and several Jaffa on foot. (SG1: "Into the Fire")
