Potato

Potato is a starchy tuberous vegetable. They can be prepared several different ways including baked, mashed or fried to make French fries.

History[]

While eating at O'Malley's Bar & Grill, Colonel Jack O'Neill and Dr. Daniel Jackson ordered a baked potato with their steaks while Major Samantha Carter order french fries with hers. (SG1: "Upgrades")
The crew of the Prometheus served Chairman Ashwan mashes potatoes and gravy with their salisbury steak. (SG1: "Memento")
On Brigadier General Jack O'Neill's first few days as commander of Stargate Command, the mess hall received Yukon Gold potatoes instead of the usual Russets. Since the golds don't make for good mash, O'Neill suggested they make french fries instead. (SG1: "Lockdown")
