- "Just rain. Much rain…wind, lightning, hail…Did I mention the rain, sir?"
- ―Colonel Jack O'Neill[src]
Ponchos are a type of outer garment used by the Tau'ri as a raincoat and for warmth. A basic poncho consists of a single large sheet of material with an opening in the center for a place for the wearer's head to go. It might also have a hood.
