- "Look, the Asgard were capable of creating a satellite that could wipe out an entire Replicator planet. I mean, we’ve had some trouble making one of our own but..."

A Planet-Wide Anti-Replicator weapon, also known as a P.W.A.R.W., is a weapon being developed by the Tau'ri to combat the Asurans.
Overview[]
These weapons were constructed using an Asgard-designed satellite weapon as a basis, where were in turn based on the weapon designed by Colonel Jack O'Neill using the Ancient knowledge in his mind. Since this weapons system was designed to nullify the connection between the nanites that made up the Asurans, the exact differences between this version of the disruptor and the Asgard version is unknown. History[]
After the discovery of the Asurans, the Tau'ri began the development of a disruptor system to effectively fight them. However, as the weapon had not yet been completed when it was discovered that the Asurans were building warships, the Apollo was commissioned to carry out a pre-emptive strike against Asuras to destroy the ships, which they hoped would buy them enough time to complete the planet-wide weapons and completely destroy the Asurans in one hit. (SGA: "First Strike")
Shortly after the successful pre-emtive strike, the Asurans became immune to the effects of the anti-Replicator guns, meaning they would likely be immune to the planet-wide version as well. Shortly after that, the Atlantis expedition, in conjunction with the Wraith and the Travelers, managed to destroy Asuras and the vast majority of Asurans. Some time after Asuras was destroyed the few remaining Asuran nanites in the Pegasus Galaxy were permanently deactivated, so it is likely that the development behind this weapon has been completely halted.
