Pie is a form of food known to have been eaten on Earth. Pie is one of the only foods that can be both the main meal, or a confection.
Whilst under the influence of Urgo, Col. O'Neill had a bite of confectionery and later wanted more. This drove the rest of SG-1 to the mess hall. (SG1: "Urgo")
Cameron Mitchell's mother served him and Vala pie when he visited his parents while going to his High school reunion. (SG1: "Bounty")
