The Parvan black jackals are black dogs. They have darkvision, a keen sense of smell, and use pack tactics.
History[]
In 2002, Parva was experiencing a drought. During this time, most of the Parvan black jackal's prey died out. This caused the jackals to grow desperate and willing to attack humans for food. (RPG: "Field of Reeds")
Seven jackals attacked Phoenix-1, Nagbe, and Zelida. Two jackals on the ridgeline where a distraction for the group while the other five went after Nagbe and her Donkey Hemar. The group managed to kill four of them and the rest retreated.
Later, the group caught sight of a couple of jackals leaving a grove after having a meal. [1]
