P1S-832 is a planet in the Milky Way galaxy that has a Stargate. It was used for centuries as a personal arena for the System Lords Svarog and Yu to settle their disputes and prove who was superior.
Overview[]
The planet's stargate is located in a rocky desert valley, surrounded by mountain ranges in the far distance. The planet has a dry, rocky surface that is rather barren. There are deep craters across the entire landscape of the planet, caused by bombs and energy weapons from the sky.
The world is slowly dying. Its soil has very little nutrients and it won't be able to sustain life in the future.
History[]
For centuries, Yu and Svarog used the planet as a personal arena to settle their disputes and every 100 years they would use the planet to fight against one another to determine who was superior. They brought humans to the world to act as living record keepers to witness the victor of each fight.
The destruction the Goa'uld brought kept the humans at a low level of development and had to always start over in the wasteland the Goa'uld would inadvertently create.
By the time a Phoenix team had arrived at the planet, the planet was dying and wouldn't be able to sustain future life. Only 28 of the planet's inhabitants remained. They lived 1/4 kilometer from the arena in a large crater, with small caves carved into the crater's rim for homes. The crater also has a stagnate freshwater basin. The people's shelter wouldn't survive another onslaught.
Svarog and Yu went to battle, and the Phoenix team tried to help evacuate the humans through the Stargate. (RPG: "Run")
