Otho's knife was a poisoned knife used by Otho of the Lord Protector's people.

History[]

After Otho was unable the use the control chair, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard addressed the people, telling them they no longer had to bow to anyone anymore. Otho unsheathed his knife and attempted to attack John from behind, but Sheppard was alerted by Mara, which gave him time to avoid it. Otho attempted a couple more hits, but Sheppard managed to grab his wrist and take the knife from him, which slashed across Otho's palm in the process. Otho then collapsed dead, due to the knife's poison. (SGA: "The Tower")
