The Ori staff weapon is similar to the Goa'uld staff weapons but more slender. The head of the weapon is similar to what is seen inside the head of the Goa'uld version when it is open. It's power sources is different however in that it uses crystals rather then liquid naquadah. One shot will kill a victim outright, if properly placed. However even a glancing shot can cause great pain and grave injuries. They are used by the Ori army while on missions to planets to defend themselves in combat or to execute non believers.
