The Olympian Guard are the Jaffa Guard that served Zeus after he culled them from the ranks of Cronus' servants and were retrained to serve Zeus as their new master. After Zeus escaped, the process again began repeated. Zeus' Jaffa are an equal mixture of Olympian Guards and Guard of Ages turncoats from Cronus' rule.[1]
Olympian Guards don't wear the traditional Jaffa armor. Instead, they don an Olympian tunic with sandals, for ease of movement, and are armed with a staff weapon and a Zat'nik'tel.[1] (SG1: "Living Gods: Stargate System Lords")
