He and Major Johnson were sent by Major General W. O. West to Colonel Jack O'Neill's house to recall him to active duty. After leaving the home, he inquired about O'Neill's state and Johnson informed him that O'Neill's son killed himself with O'Neill's gun. (Stargate)
