Nyambe (pronounced nye-AHM-bay) is a planet in the Milky Way galaxy which has a Stargate. The planet is inhabited by a species of energy-based lifeforms known as the Orisha. The Goa'uld visited the planet and managed to enslave a portion of the population with the help of a group of Orisha. (SG1: "Roleplaying Game")

Nyambe strongly resembles the continent of Africa, with large areas of grassland, scrub plain, desert and rainforest. Humans make up a majority of Nyambe's population, though there are at least a dozen other sentient species inhabiting the world. The main continent supports two empires, five smaller kingdoms, and an uncounted number of traditional governments such as chiefdoms and elder councils. Humans control most of these civilizations, which have a level of technology roughly equivalent to that of iron-age Africa. The area where the Stargate is located consists of a vast savannah inhabited by both terrestrial and extraterrestrial animals. (SG1: "Roleplaying Game")
