"Novus mammal" was a native animal on the planet Novus.
Physiology[]
The animal had whitish-gray fur with a black stripe along the back. Was almost as long as a human and walked on four legs. The creature looked like a badger.
History[]
After alternative Destiny expedition had abandoned Destiny in the faith to return home to the Earth again when it dialled inside a star. But after they had landed on another planet with a thin atmosphere to begin their search for other worlds, they could take refuge on. And then found them a planet that had the same climate as Earth, gave them there. After a time they had settled on the planet that they had named Novus them had begun to hunt the mammal and use its fur to make clothing and other things. The animal died out after People of Novus had left Novus. (SGU: "Epilogue")
