Novus colony is a planet once visited by Destiny expedition. On it they met descendants of their alternate versions, who traveled through the gate and were presumed dead, but actually traveled two thousands years back in time.
This people were originally from planet Novus, which was becoming dangerous to inhabit and sent people through the gate in order to establish colonies on nearby planets. However, gate of Novus become inaccessible and not having another gate withing radius expedition become stranded for 30 years. (SGU: "Common Descent")
