Newton

Newton is a Cat owned by Dr. Rodney McKay after Atlantis returned to Earth and continued to keep after the City-ship returned to the Pegasus galaxy. Newton is a male Siamese kitten. (SGA: "Legacy: Homecoming", "The Lost", "The Furies", "Inheritors")

Jennifer Keller liked the name Newton, while Rodney thought Newton was too easy and considered the name Schrodinger, which she found creepy. (SGA: "Legacy: Homecoming")

After Rodney asked Jennifer to marry him and she couldn't commit, he took his cat and moved out. (SGA: "Inheritors")
