Naquadah-sensing device is a Eldeoran device Eldeorans use at various excavations in the ancient ruins and other sites. When archaeologists made excavations of Lornuan ruins ,they used them to examine some underground chamber that was filled by Goa'uld that abandoned the planet. The devices could not scan the ridges.
