The Trade Minister is a Nagasamirian from the planet Nagasamir in the Pegasus galaxy. He is one of the last surviving members of his race.
Biography[]
2009[]
In 2009, prior to leaving the planet Nagasamir for a trading mission with the Krophchek people, the Trade Minister witnessed Janus displeased with the Elder's decision to keep their people's alliance with the Atlantis expedition. After the Minister left for Krophchek, Janus released uncontrolled Zero point energy that destroyed the planet.
The Trade Minister and the Nagasamirians that had come for the trade mission where given shelter and sustenance by a Krophchek inn keeper, while they grieved at the bar. Colonel John Sheppard approached him and the Trade Minister told him what Janus had done and that it couldn't have been an accident, as the Unknown Aliens had full control of the power facility. John asked him to plead his case to the Coalition of Planets Council and the Trade Minister agreed, but also informed him that it would be a long time before his people ever trusted help from anyone again.
He beamed aboard the Daedalus with Atlantis Reconnaissance 1, and they were quickly fired upon by an Alien ship and a fleet of fighters. (SGA: "Hearts & Minds 2")
