General Miraslov Kiselev (Russian: Мирослав Киселев) was the Minister of Defense of Russia.

Background information[]
He graduated with a Gold Medal from Malinovsky Tank Academy, received the Hero Of Russia for his distinguished leadership in Chechnya, commanded the Carpathian military district for IM Division, then the 14th Army in the Astrakhan military district. He was the head of the General Staff Academy for five years before being appointed to Minister of Defense. (SG1: "Full Alert")
2005[]
He was implanted with a Goa'uld symbiote by The Trust and tried to provoke a nuclear war between Russia and the United States of America. However, Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter was able to expose him by discovering that he stopped wearing his glasses despite his previously poor eyesight from glaucoma, as the symbiote cured it. He was then stopped by President Yuri Mikhailov before he could launch an attack on the United States. He was captured and the symbiote was removed from him. (SG1: "Full Alert")

- In reality, his office was held at that time by Sergei Ivanov, who is a civilian and most definitely has never been a Goa'uld host.
- According to the Russian dialogue, his name is probably Мирослав Кисилёв, which more properly should be transliterated into English as Miroslav Kisil(y)ov. However, in Russian ё (yo) is often written as е (ye), as is also the case with the Korolev.
