A meteor shower on Edora
A meteor shower is a celestial event where a group of meteors are observed to radiate from one point in the sky.
Every year on the planet Edora, there is an annual meteor shower, or "fire rain" as the planet passes very close to the system's asteroid belt. Usually the meteors skid across the planet's atmosphere and never touch its surface. However, around every 150 years, the planet enters a denser part of the asteroid belt, causing the meteors to skip too close to the planet's atmosphere, and even impacting the surface.
