Merlin tablet

The tablet examined by Dr. Jackson.

The Merlin tablet was a tablet written by the Ancient Merlin.

Overview[]

The tablet was a small stone tablet written in a code of the Ancient language. It described a vast treasure trove left somewhere on Earth.

History[]

Written by Merlin centuries ago, the tablet was stolen from an unknown person by Vala Mal Doran, after he told her about its contents. Vala the travelled to Earth and tricked Daniel Jackson into helping her find the trasure. Though the location of the treasure was not revealed in the tablet itself, it was signed by a being named Myrddin, who Daniel Jackson discovered was one of the Ancients who left Atlantis ten thousand years earlier, and was in fact none other than Merlin. Eventually the treasure was discovered to be stored in Avalon and was recovered by SG-1. (SG1: "Avalon, Part 1")
