His people had once been under the rule of a Goa'uld and when they were visited by a Prior of the Ori in 2007, they asked SG-1 for help. At first, he resisted Ori control but once his people were subdued, he wanted Thilana to hand over Teal'c to the Prior and capitulate to the Ori. (SG1: "Line in the Sand")
