Martin's ship is an advanced spaceship used by Martin's people.

History[]

Martin and four of his men used the ship to find allies who would help them to fight the Goa'uld. They came to Earth, but discovered that Earth was not advanced enough to assist them, so they placed the ship in orbit around the planet Mars for five years. (SG1: "Wormhole X-Treme!")

Technology[]

The ship has an unknown number of advanced technologies, everything from energy shields to energy beam cannons. It can be controlled using a Ship Remote.

Defense[]

The ship is equipped with energy shields. The shields are the primary defensive technology used by the ship.

Energy beam cannons[]

In order to protect the vessel and crew, the ship is equipped with four energy-beam cannons.

Power generator[]

Little is known about the power core other than that it is powered by a material similar to Naquadah.

Engines[]

The ship uses Sublight engines and Maneuvering thrusters and can achieve high accelerations. It is unknown whether the ship can travel at the speed of light but it is likely considering that it came from another part of the galaxy.

Maneuvering thrusters[]

The ship has maneuvering thrusters.

Sublight engines[]

The ship has a sublight engine.

Communication[]

The ship communications send and receive messages. It is unknown if the ship has a subspace communication system.

Some issues of The DVD Collection magazine are known to contain errors with respect to the dimensions they provide for spaceships. Dimensions for the same class of ship may vary between issues. The dimensions given in an issue may contradict how the ship visually appears on screen. The dimensions of two ships which appear similarly sized on screen may be given different measurements in The DVD Collection magazines. However, as the DVD Collection Magazines are officially licensed by MGM (and thus considered canon) Stargate Wiki includes them, while noting the apparent discrepancies in instances where they occur. See policy and List of spaceships by size for more information.
