Marsden was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, who was assigned to the Icarus Base in 2009.
Biography
2009
In 2009, he and 80 others fled the base after an attack against the base, and evacuated to the Ancient spaceship Destiny. (SGU: "Air, Part 1")
He was one of the people sitting with Airman Dunning when he started to have a hallucinations. (SGU: "Pain")
Later he switched the bodies with Lt. General Jack O'Neill by using the Long-range communication device. (SGU: "Subversion")
He was one of the people in Lt. Tamara Johansen's team visit the Ancient Seed ship. (SGU: "Awakening")
When Destiny was running a battle simulation, Marsden was on Lt. Vanessa James's defense team. (SGU: "Trial and Error")
2010
Marsden was later killed by an alien creature during a search and rescue for Lt. Tamara Johansen and Cpl. Reynolds. (SGU: "The Hunt")
Alternate timelines
- In an alternate timeline, he was part of an expedition to a Jungle planet to gather fruits and seeds to grow them in 2009. He was tasked with looking after Eli Wallace at some point. He also joked about Eli to Lt. Tamara Johansen, which they both found hilarious. That night, he began complaining of an illness, which would later be discovered to have come from a batch of unpurified water from "Hoth". He would have died within hours, but was killed by Squigglers before the Hoth virus could take its toll. (SGU: "Time")
