Agent Mark Devlin was a member of a rogue NID operation called The Committee.

Biography

2002

He tried to assassinate Senator Robert Kinsey while using the mimetic imaging device to impersonate Colonel Jack O'Neill but was unsuccessful. After SG-1 started investigating the crime, he tried to assassinate Kinsey a second time (disguised as Major Paul Davis) but was stopped before he could pull the trigger. While trying to chase Kinsey, he was shot with a zat'nik'tel by Major Samantha Carter and captured. Carter then impersonated Devlin to capture the Committee. (SG1: "Smoke and Mirrors")
