The Map Room is a location on Abydos. It represented a written Goa'uld record of planets accessible via the Stargate. Stargate addresses lined the room's walls.
In the years after the fall of Ra, Dr. Daniel Jackson discovered the room. The contents of the map room were recorded and taken to Earth for study. (RPG: "Roleplaying Game")
In 2003, Anubis attacked Abydos. It's unknown if the Map Room surivied the destruction. (RPG: "Roleplaying Game", SG1: "Full Circle")
