Malchus is a male K'Tau from the planet K'tau and also the spiritual leader of the K'Tau. Under his guidance, a group of radicals suicide bombed SG-1's rocket which was prepared in an attempt to save the planet. He and his followers believe that interference was blasphemous against their "gods" with Malchus himself even going to save as blame SG-1 who he called the "elves" or "outsiders" for dooming their planet.
