"And then it started. Round after round. Match after match. I killed them, they killed me, we died together, and apart. And each time, we returned, healthy, strong, energetic, yet aware of all that had come before."
Dis'Ma-te Sa'Bryee[src]

Mahes' technology is a device that records people that passed through the Stargate and Transportation rings and is able to recreate the pattern of those people while also adding the neural activity that took place between the last time the person teleported and their death. The technology was created by the Goa'uld Mahes, who would use it in his Court of Judgement, which would force people to repeatedly fight to the death.[1]

History[]

While on Earth under the guise of the Mayan God of Death, Cizin, Mahes influenced their blood sports and games, using these tests as a form of court to decide conflict or as a punishment for enemies. He employed novel applications of the Goa'uld healing device and the Sarcophagus technologies which permitted those in his games to be continually resurrected after death, until their amusement value had been spent, or the dispute settled.[2]

Mahes perfected his device on Leonops. Few Goa'uld were ever subjected to his device and those that were had been sent there for punishment and didn't survive the ordeal.[1]

Long after Mahes death, the Tau'ri and the System Lords Third Battle Group accidently triggered Mahes' program and were trapped in his Court of Judgement where they had to kill each other and then be resurrected with all knowledge of what came before their deaths with his technology and had to do so repeatedly until Mahes' program was satisfied.[1]

During the trial, the Third Battle Group's ship was able to interface with Mahes' control center, and downloaded the knowledge that would allow them to explore and reconstruct his Court systems. The were also able to take the mental imprints of every Tau'ri that had participated.[3] (Stargate Resistance)
