Magnum Research Desert Eagle

The Magnum Research Desert Eagle is a Tau'ri pistol. It has the distinction of being the first pistol tooled for the powerful .50 AE (Action Express) round, a feat considered impossible before this pistol achieved it.^[2]

History[]

It was a popular pistol among the Tau'ri, mostly due to its role in many Hollywood movies and also partly due to its size.^[2] (RPG: "Roleplaying Game")

The SA50-2, that was in use by Stargate Command during their fight against the System Lords Third Battle Group, is a .50 caliber Desert Eagle.^[3] (Stargate Resistance)
