The M1 Abrams was a type of Tau'ri tank. They could fit though a Stargate and were typically retrofitted with a railgun.
Though the United States Air Force didn't typically employ tanks in the field, they were common enough among Earth's armed forces that Major General Philip Kevin Loyer could provide one to Phoenix Site if needed. (RPG: "Core Rulebook")
