Light bugs are a race of small energy orbs from Light Bugs' Planet. They were encountered by Major John Sheppard, Dr. Rodney McKay, Dr. Brendan Gall and Dr. Abrams. The bugs seemed to have a taste for military rations, namely energy bars. (SGA: "The Defiant One")
The bugs seem to have a very similar appearance to the small energy beings, encountered by SG-1 on M4C-862. (SG1: "Prodigy")
