Template:Infobox Actor/Actress Alexandra L. Doig, was born on 8 June 1973 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is of British ancestry on her father's side, and Filipino on her mother's side. She acts under the name Lexa, and is most famous for her roles as the ship's personality, and android on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. She currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband Michael Shanks.
She met Michael on the set of the Andromeda episode "Star-Crossed", and they married on 2 August 2003. They had a daughter (Mia Tabitha) on 13 September 2004, and a son (Samuel David) on 19 March 2006. The two also appeared alongside each other during various episodes of Stargate SG-1 Seasons 9 and 10.
She also appeared with Torri Higginson in TekWar (1994) and Jungleground (1995).
