Laura Davis is a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force stationed at Stargate Command. Her post is as a technician in the Stargate Operations room, responsible for the activities there.
Biography
Background information
Her father, a US diplomat, met her mother while in India. The two returned to the United States of America and were married. After graduating High school and studying in India for a year, she enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida. A short time later, she transferred to NORAD and joined Stargate Command. (RPG: "Friends and Foes: Stargate Season Two")
1998
She helped coordinate the evacuation of the Alpha list to the Alpha Site during Apophis' attack on Earth. (SG1: "The Serpent's Lair")
2000
When SG-1 was wearing the Atanik armbands and defied orders to go through the Stargate, she entered the Stargate Operations room and discovered the incapacitated personnel. She attempted to shut down the gate, but was locked out. (SG1: "Upgrades")
Alternate realities
- In an alternate reality visited by Daniel Jackson in 1998, Davis was a technician for the SGA. Her position was similar to the one which she held in our reality. She was killed by the Jaffa invading Cheyenne Mountain. (SG1: "There But for the Grace of God")
Trivia
- In one scene in Bane, her badge is revealed to have the surname, "Turner" instead of "Davis".
