The Labyrinth is a series of underground chambers and tunnels on Cimmeria.
Overview[]
The Labyrinth is comprised of an array of chambers, caves, corridors, and tunnels. The only exit to the Labyrinth is the Hall of Mjolnir, which houses Thor's Hammer. Nourishment for survival is scattered throughout the maze. A hologram of Thor communicates with individuals who are transported into the Labyrinth near the Stargate. (SG1: "Thor's Hammer")
History[]
Thor created the Labyrinth as a means of capturing any Goa'uld and Jaffa that came to Cimmeria through the Stargate. An Unas subsequently became imprisoned within the maze and begun to devour individuals that ended up in it, hibernating during periods when they were in solitude. Kendra accomplished to influence her Goa'uld into coming to Cimmeria where both became trapped in the Labyrinth, with the Goa'uld eventually being driven out of Kendra's body by Thor's Hammer killing it in the process. When SG-1 came to Cimmeria, Teal'c was targeted by the transportation beam as he possessed a Goa'uld, with both him and Colonel Jack O'Neill becoming trapped in the Labyrinth when O'Neill tried to rescue him. Surveying their surroundings, both would battle the Unas upon discovery and use Thor's Hammer to kill it. Dr. Daniel Jackson fired Teal'c's Staff weapon at Thor's Hammer disabling it, as it was preventing Teal'c from leaving. With the device destroyed, SG-1 recommended sealing up the exit to the Labyrinth so any Goa'uld or Jaffa that became trapped would not be able to escape. (SG1: "Thor's Hammer")
