Kyrana is a treasure hunter, who had sought out the hidden valuables on the Ancient Treasure Planet.
Biography[]
Kyrana was in league with fellow treasure hunter Raffa, who would tell her what to do and would get aggressive, physical and threaten her if she didn't meet his expectations.
When Dr. Daniel Jackson arrived on the Ancient treasure planet and introduced himself as "Arrom", Kyrana confronted him and let him know she knew his real identity as Daniel of the Tau'ri. She claimed he had visited her homeworld in the past and asked that when he leaves the planet that he'd take her with him. She sealed her plea with a kiss, then left Daniel to join Raffa where he asked if Daniel believed her, which she agreed and they kissed.
The next day, Daniel asked Kyrana why she didn't show up to see Canno and Hamm's attempt to leave the planet. She knew the plan was suicide which is why she didn't go. She then asked Daniel to join her daily bath, which he refused. While she was gone, Dian warned Daniel of her, as she blamed Kyrana for Canno's death, as according to her, Kyrana had told Canno she would live with him if he found a way to get her off-world.
After her bath, Raffa confronted her on where Daniel was located which she didn't know. In his anger he grabbed her, and Kyrana defended herself with her gun. Raffa let her go but warned her if Daniel succeeds and escapes then her popgun wouldn't be enough to save her.
Shortly after, Kyrana informed Hem'nok and the Jaffa about Daniel Jackson's real identity as one of the men responsible for killing their gods in an attempt to anger them. The plan backfired and instead the Jaffa aided Daniel and prevented Kyrana and Raffa from following them to the location of the treasure vaults. (Stargate: "Daniel Jackson 2", "Daniel Jackson 3")
At the end of the next day, Kyrana and Raffa snuck over to the vaults to check out what the others had found. Kyrana warned Raffa not to break anything but he did anyway, which caused the giant Android Kotah to come after them. Daniel ran off to rescue Kyrana and managed to trick the android that the vault was fine. Afterward, Hem'nok warned Kyrana and Raffa if they try anything again he'll kill them himself.
The next day, Kyrana was confused about why there was a loud noise and why they were suddenly leaving the planet, as unknown to her Raffa had used an explosive on the Ancient temple vaults to distract Kotah from guarding the Stargate. Raffa ordered Kyrana to dial the gate however, she was unable to as Stargate Command was dialing in at that same moment.
After Daniel dealt with Kotah, Kyrana was allowed to return to her homeworld empty-handed as punishment. (Stargate: "Daniel Jackson 3", "Daniel Jackson 4")
