Kwanzaa is a holiday celebrated on Earth since the late 1960s, which is celebrated mainly in the United States. The feast is celebrated by African Americans and Kwanzaa is an alternative to Christmas that is celebrated between December 26 and January 1.
In 2005 when Dr. Elizabeth Weir tried to negotiate with Chaya Sar on a refuge to Proculus so once gave suggestions they could make the planet into an industrial society. But Chaya felt their lifestyle was better. Chaya mentioned on people of Proculus' religion that worshiped them Athar, and then mentioned that Weir Tau'ri followed different religions, and Major John Sheppard mentioned Kwanzaa and some others.
