Kvasir is an Asgard scientist who has assited SG-1 on several occasions. He is rather pompous, however. SG-1 first met Kvasir when the SGC was getting alternate SG-1 teams form various alternate realities caused by the black hole made of Kallana. Kvasir was sent to render assistance, in the form a time dilation device. After just a few conversations, Daniel Jackson mused that he missed Thor.
