Kar'yn is one of the Jaffa that were saved by Ishta. She became a member of the Hak'tyl resistance and later married Rya'c, Teal'c's son. She is opposed to the old fashioned way of thinking of a woman's place in the world and protested at the pre-wedding gala, but in the end, settled down. Their wedding was presided over by Master Bra'tac. They honeymooned on the same planet which Teal'c took his wife.
