Kadesh was a planet in the Milky Way galaxy which was home to a native Human race and was the homeworld of the Goa'uld queen Asherah who, at some point in time, ruled it until Ba'al discovered that Asherah had been plotting against him. With this knowledge in hand, Ba'al sent Death Gliders to the planet and destroyed one of its cities within a matter of minutes. Some of the natives, along with a Tok'ra spy, managed to make it to a secret cave system before the Death Gliders could kill them, but the caves were later found by Ba'al's Jaffa and almost all of the survivors were either killed or captured.
