K'tano was the First Prime of the minor Goa'uld, Imhotep though he was not a Jaffa. Imhotep possessed his body, claiming that he had killed his 'master', and rallied his own former Jaffa around himself. Imhotep, in K'tano's body, soon rallied Jaffa from many other System Lords around him and infiltrated the Jaffa Rebellion. Lord Yu learned of the truth behind Imhotep's supposed death, however, and managed to turn Imhotep's own people against him. (RPG: "Stargate SG-1: Roleplaying Game")
K'tano, and Imhotep with hin, were killed by Teal'c in the rite of Joma Secu after Teal'c too learned the truth. (SG1: "The Warrior")
