- "My name is K'tano. The once first prime of Imhotep. A false god. A false god who has died by my own hand. Now I am free. I am a free Jaffa. If you have come to this place, then you wish to know freedom as I do. If you have come to hear me, then you know in your heart and in your mind that the Goa'uld are not gods. Still, I am but one warrior. Only together, we are an army of warriors!"
- ―K'tano[src]
K'tano was a male human, who was a First Prime of the minor Goa'uld Imhotep, even though he was not a Jaffa.
Biography[]
2002[]
Imhotep possessed his body, claiming that he had killed his 'master', and rallied his own former Jaffa around himself. Imhotep, in K'tano's body, soon rallied Jaffa from many other System Lords around him and infiltrated the Rebel Jaffa. Lord Yu learned of the truth behind Imhotep's supposed death, however, and managed to turn Imhotep's own people against him. (RPG: "Roleplaying Game")
Although Imhotep managed to establish himself as a powerful leader among the Rebel Jaffa, the Tau'ri had several doubts about his capabilities and tactics, such as sending suicide bombers in an attack on Nirrti's forces; Colonel Jack O'Neill in particular encouraged Teal'c to consider how the world that this supposed K'tano sought to create was any different from the current system with the System Lords in charge. K'tano, and Imhotep with him, were killed by Teal'c in the rite of Joma secu after Teal'c too learned the truth from Yu. (SG1: "The Warrior")
