Jupiter is the fifth and largest planet in the Solar system and is a gas giant. Samantha Carter and Major Davis at the SGC - with O'Neill and Teal'c trapped on the X-301 - collaborated on a plan to slingshot the X-301 around Jupiter with its AIM 120A air-to-air missiles using the planet's own gravity.
