Johnson was a Tau'ri male who served as a major in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Creek Mountain in Colorado.

Johnson in a Project Giza conference.
He and another Officer were sent by Major General W. O. West to Colonel Jack O'Neill's house to recall him to active duty. He was present during first successful dialing of the Stargate. After the M.A.L.P. was sent to Abydos, he reported the atmospheric conditions to West, O'Neill and Dr. Daniel Jackson. (Stargate)
